Azahari Husin

Dr Azahari Husin (born ca 1957) is a Malaysian engineer who is wanted as a suspect of the 2002 Bali terrorist bombing. He is an engineer with a Ph.D. from Reading University, United Kingdom and was a lecturer at the University of Technology in Johor, Malaysia. Later he received extensive bomb training in Afghanistan and it is thought that he is the author of the Jemaah Islamiyah bomb manual, which was used in the 2002 Bali terrorist bombing and the 2003 JW Marriott hotel bombing. He also planned for the 2004 Jakarta embassy bombing which was bombed on 9 September, 2004. Currently, he is probably the most wanted man in Indonesia alongside with Noordin Mohd. Top.
