Aviad Rozenhek

An inspired, if little known, Israeli poet.

Background

Born in 1979, and having not too easy a childhood, Aviad soon found himself to be fascinated by dark or morbid aesthetics. his poetical genius began to shine while he was the lead singer of the little-known black metal band, Nuctemeron. Focusing on subjects close to Milton's Paradise Lost and William Blake's The Marriage of Heaven and Hell, it was there then that best poems in the english langauge were written.

Today

Aviad is finishing his graduate degree, majoring in Math and Computer Science. Still he spends many long hours alone with his poetry, producing a new pearl every now and then. Writing primarily in his native Hebrew Tongue he remains unaccessable to the large english-reading public, and even more-so the the hebrew reading public who are often unsympathetic of the subject matter depicted in his poems. thus Aviad undeservingly remaines the unknown author he is.
