Atlus

Atlus is a Japanese video game company. It is known for publishing the tactical role-playing game Tactics Ogre and the role-playing game Shin Megami Tensei. It purchased the rights to the Nekketsu Kouha: Kunio-Kun and Double Dragon franchises, which were started by the now-defunct Technos Japan Corporation. Atlus has recently published the tactical RPG Disgaea in North America, which became a cult classic. The Megami Tensei franchise was originally acquired from Namco. Atlus had nothing to do with the first two Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei games, which were based on books.
