Atlantic Coast Line, Cornwall

The Atlantic Coast Line is a railway line from Par, near St. Austell, to Newquay in Cornwall. The branch line travels from the English Channel at Par, to the Atlantic Ocean at Newquay. The stations on the route are listed below. Local passenger services are operated year-round by Wessex Trains. These are supplemented by summer-only holiday trains operated by First Great Western and Virgin Trains, which do not stop at intermediate stations. The eastern section of the line also sees a large amount of china clay freight traffic operated by EWS and Freightliner. EWS owns a depot to service locomotives, which is situated at St Blazey, north of Par.
