Arthur Brough

Arthur Brough was born 1905 at Petersfield, Hampshire and died May 28, 1978. A British actor, he gained his greatest fame as Mr. Ernest Grainger in the comedy series Are You Being Served? on BBC television. He had a minor role opposite Jayne Mansfield in the 1960 film The Challenge, and made guest appearances in TV shows such as Upstairs, Downstairs, Dad's Army, Z-Cars and Jason King.
