Arima Onsen (Hot Spring) (有馬温泉) is one of Japan's most famous old hot springs. It is in the northern part of Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Arima Onsen is still a hidden treasure of modern Kobe, behind Mount Rokko. It attracts many Japanese who want tranquility with beautiful natural surroundings and yet easy access from the busy city of Osaka. This resort is famous for frequent visits by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the 16th century.
