Archibald Campbell, 4Th Earl Of Argyll

Gillespie Roy Archibald Campbell, 4th Earl of Argyll (c. 15071558) was a Scottish nobleman and politician. He was the eldest son of Colin Campbell, 3rd Earl of Argyll, and was suspected (by King James V and his privy council) of having caused disturbances in the British Isles. He was brought in front of the king and eventually imprisoned (he was released and regained all of his positions after James died). He was twice married.
