Apc-7 Connector

The APC-7 connector (for Amphenol Precision Connector) is a sexless connector, 7mm plug, used for high frequency application up to 18 GHz, high grade. A properly mated pair of APC-7 connectors is virtually lossless and transparent. The maximum VSWR = 1.04 : 1 APC-7 connectors are frequently used on microwave test equipment where the highest possible quality co-axial connection is required. Adapters between APC-7 and other common RF connectors (e.g. N, SMA, TNC) are available from various vendors. APC-7 connectors and adapters tend to be expensive because they are extremely high-precision devices.
