Anna Elizabeth DickensonAnna Elizabeth Dickenson (1842 - 1932) Orator and lecturer who was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her youthful impassioned speeches on abolition and women's rights launched her on a public career that encompassed Republican political speeches during the Civil War and progressive lyceum lectures afterwards.
