Anja Andersen

Anja Andersen is a female handball player known for her temper and courage to make dramatic scenes and daring tricks during a match, even when under pressure (ie. shoot the ball behind her back). Because of a heart defect, she is no longer playing and is (2003) coaching one of the worlds best handball teams in Slagelse, Denmark. It is notable that this team was nowhere near the top of the world, not to mention the top of Denmark, before Anja Andersen came to the club. She is also know for arguing with the judges in a match, and for giving a finger to a judge. Andersen, Anja
