anglo leasing scam

Anglo Leasing scam is a scam which is named after a British firm, Anglo-Leasing and Finance Company Limited. The scam involved the Kenya government buying sophisticated passport equipment system from France and forensic science laboratories for the police from Britain. The transaction was worth 10 million dollars, but was awarded to Anglo-Leasing at 34 million dollars(3 billions Kenya shillings) without even being tendered. Anglo-Leasing sales agent was Sudha Ruparell, a 47 years old woman with close ties to previous president kenya Daniel arap Moi.
