Amazon E-Comerce Service (ECS) is also known as Amazon Web Services (AWS). ECS is a series of functions accessed through XML and SOAP. These functions contain methods to search Amazon.com's products, add&edit shopping carts and make purchases. The main purpose of this is to give the members of Amazon's Associate program a vehichle to make commision based sales.
