Amadou Toumani Tour

Amadou Toumani Tour (b. November 4, 1948) is the president of Mali. He overthrew a military ruler, Moussa Traor in 1991, then handed power to civilian authorities the next year. He won the presidential elections in 2002, with a broad coalition of support. Ousmane Issoufi Maga is his prime minister. See also: List of national leaders.
