Alucard

Alucard (Dracula, spelled backwards) has several meanings:
  • "Alucard" is the name of the "breakthrough hit" by the band Gentle Giant. The title is intended as a (not too) hidden reference to the subject of the song, Dracula.
  • Alucard is also a character in the ongoing series of video games, Castlevania, where his full name is Adrian Farenheights Tepes. His major role in the series comes in the game for the Sony PlayStation, where he is the protagonist of the game. However, he has minor roles in numerous other titles in the series, including being a playable character in for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
  • Alucard is the name of characters in several other vampire-related movies/series and computer games:
