Alpha Kappa PsiΑΚΨ (Alpha Kappa Psi) is an international professional business fraternity and is the largest business fraternity with 185 active chapters. Its objectives are: - To further the individual welfare of members;
- To foster scientific research in the fields of commerce, accounts, and finance;
- To educate the public to appreciate and demand higher ideals therein;
- And to promote and advance in institiutions of college rank, courses leading to degrees in business administration.
Famous AKPsi alumni include: Sam Walton, Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Bill Bradley, Richard Lugar, Malcolm Forbes, Jr., J.E. Davis (founder of Winn-Dixie), former NASA Astronaut Story Musgrave, Arthur Andersen, and J.C. Penney. The Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity was founded on October 5, 1904 at New York University, and was incorporated on May 20, 1905. It is currently headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.
