Alonso Sols

Alonso Sols (born October 14, 1978 in San Jose, Costa Rica) is a Costa Rican soccer player, who currently plays offensive midfielder for Deportivo Saprissa of the Costa Rican first division. Sols has returned to Saprissa after spending a good deal of time abroad - he has played with Universidad Catlica of Chile, OFI Crete of Greece, and SK Brann of Norway. Sols had an extremely impressive 2003/4 season with Saprissa, finishing third in the league in goals with 17, while leading Saprissa to an easy first-place finish in the league. Sols is also a figure in the Costa Rica national football team, playing a significant role in the team's 2006 World Cup Qualifying campaign. Sols, Alonso Sols, Alonso
