All The World's A StageAll the world's a stage is the phrase that begins a famous soliloquy from William Shakespeare's As You Like It, spoken by the melancholy Jacques. The speech compares life to a play, and catalogues the seven stages of a man's life: infant, school-boy, lover, soldier, justice, pantaloon, and second childhood, "sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything". It is one of Shakespeare's most frequently-quoted passages. | align="center" bgcolor="darkturquoise" colspan="3"|All The World's a Stage | | lign="center" colspan="3"|All The World's a Stage | | lign="center" bgcolor="darkturquoise" colspan="3"|LP/CD by Rush | | lign="left" valign="top"|Released | colspan="2" valign="top"|September 29 1976 | | lign="left" valign="top"|Recorded | colspan="2" valign="top"|June 1976 | | lign="left" valign="top"|Genre | colspan="2" valign="top"|Progressive Rock | | lign="left" valign="top"|Length | colspan="2" valign="top"|?? min ?? s | | lign="left" valign="top"|Label | colspan="2" valign="top"|Mercury Records | | lign="left" valign="top"|Producers | colspan="2" valign="top"|Rush and Terry Brown | | gcolor="darkturquoise" colspan="3"|Professional reviews | | lign="left" valign="top"|RollingStone | valign="top" align=center|2½/5 | valign="top"|link | | lign="left" valign="top"|Artistdirect | valign="top" align=center|3/5 | valign="top"|link | | gcolor="darkturquoise" colspan="3"|Rush Chronology | align="top"|2112 (1976) | valign="top"|All The World's a Stage (1976) | valign="top"|A Farewell to Kings (1977) | All The World's a Stage is also a double live album by Canadian band Rush, released in 1976 (see 1976 in music).
