All About Me

All About Me is a BBC1 comedy about a multicultural family living in Birmingham. The family consists of a white working class male Brummie (Colin), who is married to an Asian woman (Rupinder). Colin's two sons, Peter and Leo, share the house, as do Rupinder's half-sister (Sima), daughter (Kavita) and son Raj, a wheelchair user with cerebral palsy. The first season ended with the birth of Colin and Rupinder's baby. The third season saw the introduction of two new characters — Charles and Miranda — whose attempts at political correctness proved untactful. It is produced by Celador. The first series aired in Spring 2002, and was written by its creator Steve Knight and produced by Mike Whitehill. Subsequent seasons were produced and directed by Richard Boden, and had several writers. The title song was written by Gary Judd and performed by Catherine Porter. Incidental music was written by Garry Judd and Nick Ryan.
