Alexandre Alves

Jos Alexandre da Silva Alves Lindo (born August 15, 1973 in Sao Paulo, Brasil) is a Brazilian offensive midfielder, who currently plays for Necaxa of the Primera Divisin de Mxico. Before coming to Mexico, Alexandre played extensively in Brazil, with So Paulo and Santos, Atltico Mineiro, Guarani, and Portuguesa. He joined Necaxa for the 2004 Apertura, and became an important player in the center of the field for the club as the season wore on, playing in 15 games, 11 starts, and scoring three goals and three assists.
