Alex Kidd

Alex Kidd is a monkey-like boy hero who was Sega's mascot prior to Sonic the Hedgehog. His games were on the Sega Master System and the Sega Megadrive and Sega Genesis systems. His first game, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, was released in 1986. Many fans of the system consider his first game to be a true classic. His other games: After 1990, Sega ditched Alex Kidd in favor of Sonic the Hedgehog as their mascot.
