Ale Yarok

Ale Yarok (Green Leaf) is a political party in Israel. Its political platform is based on the legalization of marijuana and ecological issues. In the elections of January 28, 2003 it received 37,855 votes, or 1.2%. As the qualifying threshold for representation in the Knesset was 1.5% (47,226 votes in this election), it is not currently represented in the Israeli parliament. The qualifying threshold for representation has since been raised to 2%.
