Aldwincle

Aldwincle, is a village in the east of the county of Northamptonshire in England. It is on a bend of the River Nene. In 1879 the two ecclesiastical parishes, Aldwinkle All Saints and Aldwinkle St Peter merged; the parish church of the former was declared redundant in 1971. It contains "Lyveden New Bield", an extraordinary National Trust property, being an unfinished 17th century house.
