Alberto Medina

Alberto Medina Briseo (born May 29, 1983 in Culiacn, Sinaloa) is a Mexican right midfielder, who currently plays for Chivas de Guadalajara of the Primera Divisin de Mxico. After debuting for Chivas during the 2000 Winter season, Medina earned a place in earnest with the regular team in the 2002 Spring season, where he made 17 appearances, scoring three goals. After three seasons of being employed primarily as a substitute, Medina suffered a serious injury in the 2003 Apertura, which sidelined him for eight months. After returning during the 2004 Clausura liguilla, Medina earned a starting spot with the club for the 2004 Apertura. He made 17 appearances for the club, 16 starts, and scored seven goals. Medina has played for the U-20, U-23 Mexican national teams, and has been used by the tricolores during the 2006 World Cup Qualification. Medina, Alberto Medina, Alberto
