al'kesh

In Stargate SG-1 the alkesh is a powerful bomber used in bombardments of areas. It is also a light troop transport ship used to land Jaffa on a planet to enslave or to kill the inhabitants of a planet. It is also the class of vessel that Osiris had cloaked in orbit while she beamed down to Earth to probe Daniel Jacksons mind while he slept to get him to subconsciously decipher the text on an ancient tablet.
