Akkineni Nageswara Rao

Akkineni Nageswara Rao (born September 20, 1923), known as ANR for short, is a film actor from Andhra Pradesh. He is known for his heart-wrenching performance in the Telegu make of Devdas. Nageswara Rao was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1990 for lifetime contribution to Indian cinema. His son Nagarjuna is also an actor in Telugu and Hindi films.
