Air SinaiAir Sinai was a regional airline and a fully-owned subsidiary of parent airline EgyptAir. It was originally founded in 1982 and flew scheduled services between Egypt and Israel (on routes previously flown by Nefetiti Aviation). Services started using a Boeing 737-200 leased from EgyptAir and new routes to Israel's tourist destinations followed. By the early 1980s a Fokker Friendship was also in use on these services. Charter flights were also flown for EgyptAir. As the name indicates, the airline flies primarily domestic routes around the Sinai peninsula. However, for political reasons, international flights from Cairo to Tel Aviv are also flown by unmarked Air Sinai planes, not the liveried planes of parent EgyptAir. Code Data - IATA Code: 4D
