Ain Zaatout

Ain Zaatout, also called Beni Farah or Beni Ferah, is a mountainous village located at 35.14 North, 5.83 East at the southern edge of the Saharan Atlas in north east Algeria between the departments of Batna and Biskra. It has an estimated population of around 5000 called the Farhi. Farhi people are Muslim Berbers speaking a distinctive variant of the Shawi dialect used in the Aures.
