Ahmad Tajuddin

Sir Ahmad Tajuddin Ahazul Khairi Waddien (usually referred to as Ahmad Tajuddin) (June 4, 1913 - 1950) was the 27th sultan of Brunei from September 11 1924 until his death. He was knighted by the king of the United Kingdom on September 20 1949. By the time of his birth, Brunei was a British protectorate. He became sultan at the age of 11, and a regency council ruled for him until 1931. During much of World War II his country was occupied by Japan.
