Agatha Gregson

Agatha Gregson, later Lady Worplesdon, is a fictional character created by P. G. Wodehouse. Aunt Agatha, as she is best known, is the most bossy of the three aunts of Bertie Wooster referred to in Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster. She is fearsome, strong-willed, and buxom, and is always trying to get Bertie married off, usually without much success. She is known as the 'nephew-crusher'. Bertie would avoid her if he possibly could, but far too often finds himself bent to her indomitable will. Agatha had at first been engaged to Percy Craye, though upon reading in the papers of his behavior at a Covent Garden ball, she had broken it off. She is married to Spenser Gregson for most of the Wodehouse canon, though he dies in time for her to marry Craye, who had by then become Lord Worplesdon, in Joy in the Morning. She has one son, Thomas Gregson.
