After The Thin Man

After the Thin Man was the 1936 sequel to the film The Thin Man. It starred William Powell and Myrna Loy, as Nick and Nora Charles, and James Stewart. This time the murder victim and suspects are members of Nora's high-society family; at the end, Nora tells Nick something he hasn't detected yet: In this film, Nora Charles reveals that they're going to have a baby, who becomes the title of the third film in the six-movie series, Another Thin Man. The film was directed by W. S. Van Dyke and also starred Elissa Landi, Joseph Calleia, Jessie Ralph, Alan Marshall and Penny Singleton.
