Adaptive Behavior
A type of behaviour that is used to adapt to another type of behaviour or situation. This is often characterised by a kind of behaviour that allows an individual to substitute an unconstructive or disruptive behaviour to something more constructive. These behaviours are most often social or personal behaviours. For example a constant repetitive action could be re-focused on something that creates of builds something. In other words the behaviour can be adapted to something else.
