Adamantios Androutsopoulos

Adamantios Androutsopoulos (1919 - 10 November 2000) was a lawyer, professor, and the Prime Minister of Greece from 1973 to 1974. Born in Psari Trifyllias, he studied at the University of Athens and University of Chicago. He was Finance Minister (1967-71) and Minister for Internal Affairs (1971-73) during the Papadopoulos military rgime. When Papadopoulos was overthrown in 1973, Androutsopoulos became Head of Government, and also Finance Minister, until the return of democratic government in 1974.
