Action Directe (Climb)

Action Directe is a famously difficult sport climb (9a, the World's first) in the Frankenjura. It has been climbed by five people, most recently by Christian Bindhammer. The first ascent was by Wolfgang Gllich, others being Alexander Adler, Iker Pou, and Dave Graham. It was the first recognised route of the grade, and is considered by many to be something of a benchmark for the grade. It is also famous for its style, involving long moves off of single-finger pockets.
