Achray, Ontario

Achray is a community on Grand Lake in northern Algonquin Park. Achray is located in Southern Unorganized Nipissing in Nipissing District in northeastern Ontario. It was originally a station on the main line of the Canadian National Railway. Tom Thomson's painting, The Jack Pine, was inspired by the scenery in this area. Thompson worked as a fire ranger at Achray in 1916.
