Acaster Malbis

Acaster Malbis is a village in the unitary authority called City of York, England, on the River Ouse, south of York, Yorkshire and Bishopthorpe. It is mentioned in the Domesday Book as Acastre. The Malbis part comes from the land-owning Malbis family.
