A23 Road

The A23 road is a major road in England. The A23 runs from London to Brighton in East Sussex. From near Waterloo station, it travels south through Brixton, Streatham, Croydon, Coulsdon, Redhill, then into West Sussex. Continuing south, it runs past Gatwick Airport and Crawley on its way to Brighton on the south coast. Part of the road between Coulsdon and Crawley has been bypassed by the M23 motorway. For part of its route through Croydon, the A23 is known as Purley Way, which is known for its superstores, particularly IKEA, and for Croydon Airport. 2-0023
