A.d. Vision

A.D. Vision is a Houston, Texas based international multimedia entertainment company, active in home video production and distribution, broadcast television, theatrical film distribution, merchandising, original productions, magazine and comic book publishing and is the largest anime company in North America. It was founded in 1992 by anime fans John Ledford and Matt Greenfield. Since then, the company has grown immensely in size and diversified with several subsidiary companies such as Newtype USA (considered the bible of anime), the Anime Network which is Americas first all-anime cable television network, ADV Manga which publishes Japanese manga (comic books), ADV Music which publishes soundtracks from anime and other Japanese films and ADV Pro which is the companys anime production studio. The original core of the company is now the subsidiary ADV Films, which distributes anime and live action material. The company maintains offices in North America, Europe and Asia. By their own admission, what the initials "A.D." stand for are a closely-guarded company secret.
