A Wedding

A Wedding is a 1978 comedy film by Robert Altman, starring Carol Burnett, Lillian Gish, Vittorio Gassman, Mia Farrow and Howard Duff. In 2004, the movie was adapted into an opera, premiering at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, under the direction of Altman. The score was by William Bolcom, and the libretto was by Altman and Arnold Weinstein.
