Zug Island

Zug Island is an island in the city of River Rouge at the southern boundary with Detroit in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is at the mouth of the River Rouge on the the Detroit River. It is aa heavily industrialized area and is part of the Ford Motor Company Rouge plant. It is a completely man-made island, formed by digging of a canal that cut off a bend in the River Rouge. Cameras are prohibited on the premises, so pictures of the area itself (except from the outside) are rare.
