Yumi, Eri, AyumiYumi, Eri, and Ayumi are three characters in the anime and manga series InuYasha. They are good friends of Kagome, and all four of them attend the same middle school in Tokyo. While Kagome struggles to keep up with school because she is often away in the Feudal Era, Yumi and Ayumi seem to share the same fate as after every test, they would get together and talk about how bad they did on the exam. Eri, on the other hand, always scores well on tests and doesn't seem to notice her friends' difficulties with academics. The three of them are always together, and they often bug Kagome about why isn't she interested in Hojo and once they hear about Kagome's "bad-ass" boyfriend, they develope a habit of bombarding Kagome with one question after another, seeking to know more about the mysterious guys she has met outside of school. Kagome talks to them about the past, but in heavily abstracted terms. Since they believe that Kagome is not attending school due to multiple chronic sicknesses, she simply refers to InuYasha and the others of the Feudal Era as people she knows.
