Ymir (Ray Harryhausen)The Ymir is a Venusian creature brought to Earth. The spaceship carrying it crashlands off the coast of Italy. Once exposed to the terran atmosphere the Ymir grows at an astromonical rate. It goes on a rampage through Rome, wrestling an elephant and smashing up the Colisseum before it is killed. The special effects for this film were provided by Ray Harryhausen.
