Xara X

Xara X is a vector graphics editor created by a small British software company named Xara, famous for being the first vector graphics software product to provide anti-aliasing, advanced gradient fill and transparency tools, now available in many of the competitors' products. Xara X is also notable for its intuitive interface and very fast renderer. The predecessor of Xara X was called ArtWorks developed on the Acorn Archimedes 32-bit risc computer. The first version developed for Micrsoft Windows was initially called Xara Studio, but before widescale public availability it was licensed to Corel Corporation, and from 1995 to 2000 was released as CorelXARA. The current version, Xara X, was released in 2004.
