World Tournament Saga The World Tournament Saga is a part of the plot run in the Anime Dragon Ball Z. It is about the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament (Tenka'ichi Budkai), in which Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, Krillin, Android 18, Goten and Chibi Trunks disguised as Mighty Mask, Videl, the Supreme Kai, Kibito, Spopovitch, Yamu, Pintar, Killah, Jewel, Hercule (Mr Satan) and Son Goku (even though he is dead) are all finalists of. The story continues from the Great Saiyaman Saga. Goku is granted permission to spend one day on Earth in order to compete in the tournament. In this tournament the preliminary rounds are decided by a punching machine that tests your strength. The 15 people with the highest strength, as well as Hercule (the reigning Champion), make it to the finals. Of course the Z fighters, even using only minimal amounts of their power, are in the top 15, and Vegeta refuses to use any kind of power reduction and destroys the machine. Gohan and Videl thus miss the Junior Division. The Junior Division is for entrants 16 and under, to the great dismay of Goten and Trunks. They easily make it to the finals and after a long close fight, Trunks wins the Junior title. The Draw for the Main event goes: - 1. Krillin vs Pintar (a fat Turkish guy)
- 2. Piccolo (under the alias "Majunior") vs the Supreme Kai (under the alias "Shin)
- 3. Videl vs Spopovitch
- 4. Gohan vs Kibito
- 5. Hercule vs Android 18
- 6. Goku vs Vegeta
- 7. Mighty Mask (Goten and Trunks in disguise) vs Killah (a black guy with a horrible accent)
- 8. Jewel (a pretty boy) vs Yamu.
Krillin easily defeats Pintar. Piccolo gives up the match when he realises his opponent is the Supreme Kai. Spopovitch beats Videl to a bloody pulp. Kibito asks Gohan to turn into a Super Saiyan, and when he does, Spopovitch and Yamu pounce on him, drain all of his energy, and fly off. Goku, Krillin, Piccolo, Vegeta, and the Supreme Kai fly off after them. Then Gohan and Videl are healed, and with Kibito they also take off. The story continues with the Babidi Saga.
