Wondjina

In Aboriginal mythology, the Wondjina were cloud and rain spirits who, during the Dream time, painted their images (as humans but without mouths) on cave walls. Their ghosts still exist in small ponds. Walaganda, one of the Wondjina, became the Milky Way.
