Wojciech Kossak

Wojciech Kossak (December 31, 1857, Paris, FranceJuly 29, 1942, Krakw, Poland) was a Polish painter, member of the famous Kossak family of painters. He is best known for works depicting the traditions of the Polish Army, as well as notable battles in Central and Eastern Europe. Among his most celebrated paintings is the Panorama of the Battle of Racławice (Panorama Racławicka).
