lawyer, politician, and judge. After service as a cabinet minister in
Nova Scotia
under both the
Liberals
and the
Conservatives
, Henry was a delegate to all three
Confederation
Conferences and may have helped draft the
British North America Act
. He was appointed to the
Supreme Court
in
1875
