Washington State Route 20

Washington State Route 20, Highway 20, SR-20, or The North Cascades Highway is a State Highway (Route) in Washington State. It travels from an intersection with US-101 at Discovery Bay near Port Townsend to Newport at a junction with US-2 about 400 feet from the Idaho state line.

Oddities

SR-20 is one of only 3 State Routes in Washington that are closed in the Winter. Washington Pass Annually recieves several feet of snow throughout the winter, and is prone to avalanches.

Possible Future Business Route in Oak Harbor when a by-pass or viaduct of the city is built. Possible Future Historic/Alternate Route at Deception Pass when a new crossing is built.
