W.p.c. Davies

William Philip ("Phil") Cathcart Davies played rugby at centre for Cambridge University, Harlequins, England and the British Lions (South Africa 1955). He later became a prep school headmaster at Cheltenham College Junior School, Gloucestershire, England. Phil was a member of the Cambridge University RFC tour to Japan in 1953, the first one by Cambridge after World War Two. It took place after Oxford had toured in the previous year.
