W Connection

Vibe CT 105 W Connection is a football club from Trinidad and Tobago, which currently plays in the Professional Football League of Trinidad. The team was founded as W Connection Sports Club in 1986 as an amateur team. Upon the creation of the PFL, W Connection FC was officially founded, and promptly joined the nascent league. In 1999, their first season, the club finished third in the PFL, while winning the Trinidadian FA Cup. After a relatively successful first season, the team would see even better times the next two, winning the PFL in consecutive seasons. The club was founded by brothers David John Williams and Patrick John Williams in San Fernando. Kenwyne Jones of Southampton F.C. played at W Connection starting in 2002 before moving to England.
