Alexander N. Vyssotsky
and
Emma T. R. Williams
is a
mathematician
and
computer scientist
. He is one of the team member of
Multics
project. Multics, whilst not particularly commercially successful in itself, directly inspired
Ken Thompson
to develop
Unix
. Early
1960s
along with
Robert Morris Sr.
and
Doug McIlroy
he devised and played a computer game called
Darwin
(later know as
Core War
) on a
IBM 7090
at
Bell Labs
. Later virus developers used same technique to develop some viruses.
